About the Role
As a Senior Security Analyst at Plaid, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of financial data for millions of users. You will be part of the Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance team, focusing on enabling the business by proactively managing information security risks and maintaining effective controls. Your primary responsibility will be to lead security contract reviews, identifying unacceptable clauses and providing actionable feedback to Legal and GTM teams.The Security Contracts workstream is a core part of Plaid's Security Assurance program, ensuring that Plaid's contractual security obligations with customers and data partners are defensible, consistent, and never a bottleneck to deal velocity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that Plaid's platform remains secure, resilient, and aligned with industry and regulatory expectations.
What You Will Do
- Lead security contract reviews across customer MSAs, DPAs, security addenda, and security exhibits
- Design and own the end-to-end Security Contracts program infrastructure
- Track security contract asks across deals and identify recurring patterns
- Assess feasibility and propose recommendations to leadership when recurring asks point to program gaps
- Join customer and data partner calls as Plaid's security subject matter expert
- Define KPIs, build dashboards, and deliver regular reporting on program health
- Build and scale AI-assisted workflows for security assurance and contract review
- Support customer security questionnaires and external audit calls
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in information security, preferably in a financial services or technology company
- Strong knowledge of security contract review and management
- Experience with GTM and security assurance programs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows and automation tools
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Legal and GTM
Nice to Have
- Experience with security frameworks and regulations, such as SOC 2 and GDPR
- Knowledge of cloud security and infrastructure
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems
