About the Role
The (Senior) SharePoint / Microsoft 365 Consultant role is a remote, full-time position that requires a high level of expertise in SharePoint and Office 365 services. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing technical advice and support to clients, developing SharePoint solution architecture, and collaborating with the development team to provide architecture support. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional experience in O365 and deploying configured tools to support client requirements.The role is part of an international organization, and you will be working with a team of professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality solutions. The normal office hours are based on New York time, and you will be expected to work at least 4-5 hours per day during this time.
What You Will Do
- Provide technical advice and support to clients on SharePoint and Office 365 services
- Develop SharePoint solution architecture and business domain requirements
- Manage transition planning and support for external solutions to be hosted within the SharePoint Online
- Collaborate with the SharePoint development team to provide architecture support, review of new technologies, research, and select 3rd party tools
- Develop and maintain documentation of SharePoint solutions and services
- Provide training and support to clients on SharePoint and Office 365 services
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in SharePoint and Office 365 services
- Participate in the planning and migration of existing platforms to SharePoint Online
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of SharePoint services
What We Are Looking For
- At least 5 years of professional experience in O365 and deploying configured tools to support client requirements
- Experience planning and migrating from other platforms to SharePoint Online
- Excellent communications and client relationship skills
- Working knowledge of PowerShell for solutions deployment, and automated installations
- Familiarity with SharePoint tools such as ShareGate, and other tools to support migrations
- Fluency in English
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure services and cloud-based solutions
- Knowledge of IT service management frameworks and best practices
- Familiarity with other Microsoft products and services
- Certification in SharePoint or related technologies
- Experience working with international clients and teams
