About the Role

Affirm is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will help engineering partners operate applications with excellence, protecting customers' experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide data and visibility to teams and leadership on application performance
  • Guide the development of SLOs
  • Drive the Incident Management and Analysis process
  • Steer the implementation of Change Management and Deployment practices
  • Engage in service and architectural conversations
  • Recommend observability and alerting configurations

Requirements

  • Experience in infrastructure, platform, and distributed systems
  • Capacity management, load and chaos testing
  • Automation, observability, and configuration management
  • Development and product experience
