About the Role

Canonical is seeking a Senior Site Reliability / Gitops Engineer to join its Information Systems team. The team supports and maintains all of Canonical’s IT production services, used by over 60 million Ubuntu users.

Responsibilities

  • Drive operations automation to the next level, both in private and public clouds
  • Utilize open source infrastructure as code software and software development practices like CI/CD pipelines
  • Provide critical feedback to developers on how their products operate at scale

Requirements

  • Experience in IT operations automation and infrastructure as code
  • Passion for Linux and technology

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Excel and automation tools
