About the Role
As a Senior Social Media Strategist at Directive, you will play a critical role in developing and executing paid social media campaigns for mid-market and enterprise clients. Your expertise in LinkedIn Ads, Google Analytics, and programmatic advertising will be essential in driving results and measuring campaign success. You will work closely with the Associate Director and other team members to ensure internal and client goals are met, and contribute to the growth and development of the company's social media advertising capabilities.The role entails overseeing and leading a collection of social media accounts, serving as direct support to client contacts, and communicating with vendors and operational partners to ensure seamless execution of campaigns. Your ability to build strategies, create and optimize budgets, and provide fractional support for internal marketing will be crucial to the success of the team.

What You Will Do
- Oversee and lead a collection of social media accounts, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives
- Develop and execute paid social media campaigns, including ad copywriting, targeting, and budget optimization
- Communicate with client contacts and vendors to ensure seamless campaign execution
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support
- Analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, and Excel to make data-driven decisions
- Develop and implement strategies to drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals via client relationships and professional network
- Collaborate with the Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are met
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to continuously improve campaign performance
- Provide fractional support for internal marketing, contributing to the growth and development of the company's social media advertising capabilities
- Confirm lead routing is accurate within the CRM, ensuring efficient sales and marketing processes
- Work directly with the Associate Director to ensure personal productivity and utilization are optimized
What We Are Looking For
- 4+ years of experience working at a performance/digital marketing agency, with hands-on experience supporting B2B clients
- Deep expertise across paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads
- Understanding of different Ad Units within the LinkedIn Platform, such as conversation ads, document ads, CTV, and more
- Proficiency in using advertising platforms and tools, such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, 6Sense, and more
- Ability to delegate to junior team members, ensuring joint success and team growth
- Strong understanding of paid principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization
- Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms to make data-driven decisions
- Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
- Proven and measurable success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
- Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data
Nice to Have
- Experience with programmatic advertising and understanding of its value in driving campaign success
- Familiarity with CRM systems and lead routing processes
- Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and their application in social media advertising
- Certification in Google Analytics or other relevant advertising platforms
