About the Role
The Senior Social Media Advertising Strategist position at Directive is a unique opportunity for a seasoned marketing professional to join a team of innovators. This role is crucial in driving the success of Directive's social media advertising endeavors, particularly with LinkedIn Ads and other platforms. As a key member of the social media team, you will report to the Associate Director and work closely with clients to develop and execute bespoke social media strategies that cater to their needs.Day-to-day, you will oversee a collection of social media accounts, serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, and ensure seamless communication with vendors and operational partners. Your expertise in building high-performing social media campaigns, especially on LinkedIn, will be invaluable in helping Directive's clients achieve their goals. You will also contribute to the development of custom strategies, creation, and optimization of paid media campaigns, and provide fractional support for internal marketing initiatives.

What You Will Do
- Oversee and lead a portfolio of social media accounts, ensuring alignment with client objectives and Directive's marketing strategies.
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for mid-market and enterprise clients, with a focus on LinkedIn Ads.
- Serve as a direct point of contact for client communications, providing regular updates on campaign performance and strategic recommendations.
- Conduct weekly meetings with vendors and operational partners to ensure task alignment, work quality, and continuous improvement.
- Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns to maximize ROI.
- Provide support for internal marketing efforts, contributing to the success of a boutique agency within Directive.
- Deeply understand client positioning, unique value propositions, and lead routing within CRM systems.
- Work closely with the Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are met, and contribute to the growth and development of the social media team.
- Drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals through strong client relationships and professional networking.
- Execute and optimize advertising campaigns within LinkedIn, including ad copywriting, targeting, and maximizing ROI.
What We Are Looking For
- 4+ years of experience working in a performance or digital marketing agency, with hands-on experience supporting B2B clients.
- Deep expertise in paid social advertising campaigns, particularly on LinkedIn Ads, including conversation ads, document ads, and more.
- Proficiency in using advertising platforms and tools like LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, 6Sense, and other relevant software.
- Ability to delegate tasks to junior team members and ensure joint success.
- Strong understanding of paid media principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization.
- Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms to make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc., and proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts.
- Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data, being equally competitive and curious.
- Quality-oriented with a passion for advertising and a growth mindset.

- Experience with programmatic campaigns and understanding of their value in complementing social media strategies.
- Familiarity with Customer Generation, a marketing methodology that focuses on SQLs and customers.
