About the Role

The Senior Software Engineer position at Parto Group GmbH is a key role in the company's mission to revolutionize financial processes in social care institutions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing full-stack solutions that drive the company's innovative financial infrastructure. What You Will Do

  • Design, implement, test, and ship across the stack, focusing on improving architecture and contributing to team practices and processes.
  • Wear a product hat and make meaningful product improvements, ensuring that solutions meet the needs of care professionals and the individuals they support.
  • Proactively communicate in written and spoken form, ensuring seamless collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of the company's web-based platform, integrating with relevant ERP systems, banking partners, and book-keeping systems.
  • Manage virtual and physical VISA debit cards as an administrator and reconcile with banking partners.
  • Participate in the integration with the most relevant ERP systems in the industry to minimize time-consuming manual processes.
  • Collaborate with the team to cut process costs by over 75%, freeing up valuable time and resources for care professionals.
  • Engage in peer coding, manual testing, and onsite sessions to ensure high-quality solutions and team spirit.

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, ideally in a product-driven, fast-paced environment with a customer-facing context.
  • Hands-on experience designing distributed systems, applying architectural patterns, and building secure, multi-tenant applications.
  • Structured, self-directed work style with proactive communication skills, suitable for a remote setup.
  • Experience working with business expense or accounting platforms, or SaaS solutions, is a plus.
  • Full ownership from product discovery to production deployment, with a focus on solving real customer problems.
  • Ability to dive deep into development while maintaining the team's unique spirit and culture.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with React, Turborepo, Next.js, Typescript, Tailwind CSS, and gRPC.
  • Knowledge of Event Sourcing & CQRS architecture, Go, Google Cloud Platform, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Run & Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL (Postgres).
  • Familiarity with Github Actions, Sentry/OTEL, and shadcn/ui.
