## About the Role As a Senior Software Engineer on Sentry's AI/ML team, you will play a crucial role in developing the platform used by the company's debugging agents. This involves integrating AI and machine learning into core products to enhance issue triage, resolution, and predictive analytics for application performance monitoring. Your work will have a direct impact on helping companies worldwide gain actionable insights into their software, enabling them to build better products faster.

## What You Will Do - Develop state-of-the-art agentic AI platforms to triage, debug, and solve real production issues.

  • Leverage Sentry’s novel and massive dataset of errors, spans, and profiles to inform your work.
  • Own the development of major initiatives in the AI/ML space, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Build features alongside developers and product teams, ensuring seamless integration of AI and ML solutions.
  • Collaborate with the team to design, implement, and deploy machine learning models at scale in production environments.
  • Work with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch to develop and refine AI models.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and related technologies.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the team.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
## What We Are Looking For - Minimum 5+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building production-grade agentic systems and tools.
  • Comfortable writing production-quality code, with proficiency in languages like Python and TypeScript.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks, particularly PyTorch.
  • Familiarity with deploying machine learning models at scale in production environments.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote and hybrid environment.
## Nice to Have - Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.

90,000 to $288,000 USD, depending on experience and location.
