About the Role
The Comms Platform team at Affirm is responsible for managing critical services that enable the success and sustainability of the organization. These services include transactional communication send-outs to customers via email, SMS, and push notifications, requiring attention to detail, proactive maintenance, and swift response times.Responsibilities
- Own and deliver quarterly goals for the team, leading engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to support the product development lifecycle.
- Proactively identify and solve project, process, technology, or business issues.
- Foster a culture of quality and ownership on the team by setting or improving code review and design standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and leading backend comms platforms.
