About the Role
Affirm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its fully remote Merchant Data Platform team in Europe. The successful candidate will lead backend development, ensuring the platform's stability and efficiency.Responsibilities
- Own and deliver quarterly goals for the team, leading engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to support the product development lifecycle
- Proactively identify project, process, technology, or business issues and lead in solving them
- Drive detailed project definition, design, cross-functional alignment, estimation, and task breakdown
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer with leadership responsibilities
- Strong technical expertise in backend development
- Experience working in a remote team environment
