What You Will Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions
• Own and improve key components of our codebase, ensuring excellence and scalability
• Drive creative problem-solving, leveraging your expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks and cloud infrastructure
• Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring that our systems are well-documented and easily maintainable
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring that our codebase meets the highest standards of quality
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies, applying your knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
• Work closely with the product team to identify areas for improvement, prioritizing features and developing solutions that meet user needs
• Develop and implement automated testing and deployment scripts, ensuring that our systems are reliable and efficient

What We Are Looking For

• 5-7+ years of full-stack experience, with a strong focus on modern JavaScript frameworks and cloud infrastructure
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks, such as ReactJS, and experience with NodeJS/ExpressJS
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, including AWS, and strong knowledge of MongoDB/NoSQL databases
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Passion for delivering high-quality user experiences, with a focus on crafting intuitive and user-friendly interfaces
• Experience with observability and metrics-driven design, utilizing tools like Datadog
• Strong technical leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers
• Background in science, with an analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving

Nice to Have

• Experience with Terraform for cloud infrastructure and automation
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment
• Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Familiarity with machine learning and AI technologies, with a strong interest in applying these technologies to drive innovation
