Job Description

About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Platform team at Chainguard, you'll play a vital role in developing customer-facing backend services and APIs. This position is fully remote, allowing you to thrive in a flexible work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and improve customer-backed services and public APIs.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management and the Experience team to effectively rollout and iterate on features.
  • Own features from conception through implementation, ensuring seamless integration across multiple product lines.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of strong backend engineering experience.
  • Deep experience in building production services and APIs in cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in Go (Golang) or an ability to quickly learn it.
  • Practical understanding of API versioning, backwards compatibility, and user authentication experiences.
  • Familiarity with microservices and cloud-native architectures is essential.

  • Previous experience with teams in a product-driven environment.
