About the Role

Close is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Frontend/React to join their 100% remote team. The company has built a CRM that helps teams sell more, faster, with a strong focus on communication-first sales software.

About the Company

Close is a bootstrapped and profitable company with a team of ~120 people, all working remotely. The Engineering team has grown to 50+ members across Frontend, Backend, and Infrastructure, prioritizing craftsmanship and collaboration.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be working on the company's frontend app, built with React, and will be responsible for shipping features that matter to customers in a thoughtful, scalable, and innovative way. The app's frontend is a single-page TypeScript web app, and the company uses various technologies such as Websockets, WebRTC, and CSS modules.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in React and frontend development
  • Experience with remote work and digital skills
  • Strong understanding of performance, maintainability, and testability of frontend code

Nice to Have

  • Experience with REST API & GraphQL endpoints
  • Knowledge of Python/Flask, MongoDB, Postgres, Elasticsearch, and Redis
