About the Role

The role entails collaboration with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, QA engineers, product managers, and product designers. You will be working independently and as part of a team to drive solutions that automate repetitive manual tasks and shift the focus toward high-impact innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with expertise in API mastering, data integrity, and system reliability.

What You Will Do

• Design and implement seamless connections between the platform and external ATS systems
• Master diverse third-party APIs while maintaining high standards for data integrity and system reliability
• Innovate on bespoke internal tools to empower team members and drive a better day-to-day experience
• Prototype and build solutions that transform complex internal workflows into intuitive, high-performance interfaces
• Proactively identify and drive solutions to automate repetitive manual tasks
• Use performance and error monitoring tools to ensure automated solutions improve customer and internal user experience
• Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable solutions, write comprehensive tests, and perform thorough code reviews
• Effectively document work and architectural patterns for consumption by the broader engineering team
• Participate in daily and weekly engineering team meetings to align on work schedules and SDLC progress
• Demonstrate continual learning of new languages, libraries, and industry SDLC best practices
• Provide guidance and constructive feedback to new or associate team members

What We Are Looking For

• B.S. in Computer Science or a related field, equivalent trade school degree, or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience in a software engineering role
• Strong background in API mastering, data integrity, and system reliability
• Experience with cloud-based technologies and AWS certifications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with software development methodologies and version control systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to security, collaboration, and continuous learning

Nice to Have

• Experience with SaaS video interview and chatbot platforms
• Knowledge of HR tech ecosystem and integrations
• Familiarity with performance and error monitoring tools
