About the Role
Join Ava Labs as a Senior Software Engineer on our Institutional Custody team, focusing on the development of secure blockchain and crypto wallet products.Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cryptocurrency wallet systems using TypeScript, Node, REST API, and Go.
- Architect modular, scalable backend systems with a focus on performance and security.
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to optimize configurations for Ava Labs products.
- Assess opportunities and provide tailored solutions to enhance client experience.
- Take ownership of delivering high-quality backend systems that meet security standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience with REST API design and operation, data modeling (Postgres/SQLite), and real-time feature development.
- Basic exposure to infrastructure technologies like Kubernetes (K8), Docker, CI/CD, and Cloudflare.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and security standards.
- Excellent documentation habits and developer experience (DX).

- Proficiency with GitHub Actions.
