About the Role

The Wikimedia Foundation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its team, reporting to the Sr. Engineering Manager. The successful candidate will develop and execute on the long-term engineering strategy in collaboration with the product team, focusing on high-impact challenges behind innovating, building, and maintaining Wikipedia’s data feeds for high-volume reusers.

About Wikimedia Enterprise

Wikimedia Enterprise is a new, revenue-generating product providing fast, comprehensive, reliable, and secure data ingestion for organizations repurposing Wikimedia/Wikipedia content in third-party environments. The goal is to improve the user experience for Wikimedia/Wikipedia readers beyond the foundation's websites, increase content reach and discoverability, and enhance awareness and ease of attribution and verifiability of Wikimedia/Wikipedia content.
