Job Description

About the Role

As a Senior Solution Architect at Look4IT, you will play a key role in building a new practice that focuses on the integration of SAP and Microsoft Azure. This is a remote position that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement solutions that bridge the gap between SAP and Microsoft Azure, helping clients to unlock the full potential of their enterprise estates. The role involves working closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their requirements. You will be responsible for leading the technical side of pre-sales efforts, including scoping, proofs of value, estimates, and RFP/bid responses. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be essential in this role. What You Will Do

  • Define reference and target architectures for SAP-Azure integration, data, and AI, focusing on patterns that are reusable across the client base
  • Lead the technical side of pre-sales efforts, including scoping, proofs of value, estimates, and RFP/bid responses
  • Design the data route in, reaching value through SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric / OneLake
  • Architect the AI layer on the SAP estate, including agents, RAG, MLOps, and domain-native AI, plus where Microsoft Copilot and SAP Joule fit
  • Make the build-vs-partner call on connectors and platform components, and own the trade-offs, including Clean Core, portability, and vendor lock-in
  • Work with delivery engineers to turn winning designs into reusable IP and productized offers, with clear scope and dates
  • Be a credible voice in front of client architects and sponsors, providing neutral, premium advisory on SAP-Microsoft decisions
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the SAP and Microsoft ecosystems, including the latest technologies and trends
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans to pursue them
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members, helping to develop their skills and expertise

What We Are Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, integration architecture, or data architecture, with a focus on SAP and Microsoft Azure
  • Strong command of the SAP side, including S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP data (BW, CDS views, SAP Datasphere, Business Data Cloud), and integration patterns
  • Strong command of the Microsoft side, including Azure data services, Microsoft Fabric / OneLake, Databricks, and ideally the Power Platform / Copilot ecosystem
  • A track record in pre-sales or client-facing solution design, including scoping, estimating, and winning work
  • Fluent English, with confident leading executive and architect-level conversations
  • Experience working in a remote team environment, with strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A strong understanding of the enterprise software market, including the latest trends and technologies
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions, including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on or design experience with Open Mirroring, SAP Business Data Cloud, or zero-copy / Delta Share between SAP and Fabric
  • Experience architecting AI agents, RAG, or domain-native AI on enterprise / SAP data
  • Familiarity with the EU regulatory frame (NIS2, DORA, CRA, AI Act) as it shapes architecture and procurement
  • A point of view on the SAP-Fabric connector landscape and partner ecosystems
  • A Nordic language or Polish alongside English
