About the Role
As a Senior Solutions Architect at Automat-it, you will play a critical role in the pre-sales process, working closely with global startup customers to develop and implement tailored AWS solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving business growth and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.The role entails designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions that meet the specific needs of each customer. This will involve conducting thorough analyses of current systems, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing effective solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including account executives, to ensure seamless delivery of projects.

What You Will Do
- Design and develop scalable, cost-efficient cloud solutions for customers using AWS
- Conduct Well-Architected reviews and Statement of Work (SoW) to ensure best practices are followed
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure solutions are designed and developed according to industry standards
- Participate in public speaking engagements, such as workshops, conferences, and webinars, to share knowledge with customers and the cloud community
- Research and analyze current solutions and initiate improvement plans to enhance customer experiences
- Work directly with global startup customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions
- Travel frequently, both locally and internationally, to meet with customers, partners, and attend industry events
- Develop and maintain technical documentation of solutions and architectures
- Stay updated with the latest AWS services and features to continuously improve solution designs
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in an AWS environment, including implementation, migration, and maintenance
- 2+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles, such as Customer Engineering, SRE, Cloud Architect, or equivalent
- Proven experience in designing and developing software in production environments with Python, Go, Java, or equivalents
- In-depth knowledge of AWS's main services, with an emphasis on Kubernetes and Containers
- Certified AWS Solutions Architect - Associate, with AWS Solutions Architect Professional or specialty certification being an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German
- Ability to effectively communicate technical design in verbal and written formats in front of customers
- Ability to lead an end-to-end engagement with the account management team
Nice to Have
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools
- Knowledge of Information Security best practices
- Experience working in an international environment
- Familiarity with cloud cost optimization strategies
- Participation in open-source projects or personal cloud-related projects
