Senior Solutions Architect

About the Role

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation and creativity. Your expertise in Excel will be essential in driving business growth and optimizing cloud infrastructure.

The role is based in Munich, but you will have the opportunity to work remotely and travel locally and internationally to meet with customers and partners. You will be part of a global team that is passionate about delivering exceptional results and driving innovation in the tech industry.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and implement solutions to meet business requirements and create cost-efficient, highly available, and scalable solutions for customers
• Conduct Well-Architected reviews and Statements of Work (SoW) to ensure solutions are designed and developed according to best practices
• Research and analyze current solutions and initiate improvement plans to drive business growth and optimize cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure solutions are designed and developed according to best practices
• Share your knowledge with customers and the cloud community by participating in public speaking engagements such as workshops, conferences, webinars, and more
• Work directly with global startup customers to develop AWS solutions that meet their business requirements
• Collaborate with account executives to develop and implement sales strategies that drive business growth
• Travel locally and internationally to meet with customers and partners and attend industry events
• Participate in company events and social gatherings to foster a sense of community and teamwork
• Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in an AWS environment, including implementation, migration, and maintenance
• 2+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles, such as Customer Engineering, SRE, Cloud Architect, or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in an IT environment, including hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps tools
• Proven experience in a production environment, developing software with either Python, Go, Java, or equivalents
• In-depth knowledge of AWS's main services, with an emphasis on Kubernetes and Containers
• Successfully designed DevOps and Infrastructure for high-scale production environments in AWS
• Understanding of Information Security best practices
• Certified AWS Solutions Architect - Associate, with AWS Solutions Architect Professional or a specialty certification being an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead an end-to-end engagement with the account management team

Nice to Have

• Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization
• Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
• Certification in Kubernetes or Containers
• Experience with cloud security and compliance
