Senior Solutions Architect

About the Role

The role entails working directly with global startup customers, researching and analyzing current solutions, and initiating improvement plans. You will also collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure solutions are designed and developed according to best practices. As a key member of the pre-sales process, you will be responsible for sharing your knowledge with customers and the cloud community through public speaking engagements.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and implement AWS solutions to meet business requirements
• Conduct Well-Architected reviews and create Statements of Work (SoW)
• Research and analyze current solutions and initiate improvement plans
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure solutions are designed and developed according to best practices
• Share knowledge with customers and the cloud community through public speaking engagements
• Work directly with global startup customers to develop tailored solutions
• Collaborate with account executives to develop and deliver sales strategies
• Participate in workshops, conferences, webinars, and other public speaking engagements
• Travel frequently to meet with customers, partners, and attend industry events
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in an AWS environment, including implementation, migration, and maintenance
• 2+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles, such as Customer Engineering, SRE, Cloud Architect, or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in an IT environment, including hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps tools
• Proven experience in a production environment, developing software with either Python, Go, Java, or equivalents
• In-depth knowledge of AWS's main services, with an emphasis on Kubernetes and Containers
• Certified AWS Solutions Architect - Associate, with AWS Solutions Architect Professional or specialty certification an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German
• Ability to effectively communicate technical design in verbal and written formats in front of customers

Nice to Have

• Experience with FinOps, GenAI, or other related technologies
• Knowledge of information security best practices and compliance frameworks
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems
