## About the Role As a Senior Solutions Architect at Automat-it, you will play a crucial role in the pre-sales process, collaborating directly with global startup customers and cross-functioning with account executives to develop and implement AWS solutions. Your expertise will help drive real results for clients, fueling innovation and solving complex challenges daily. The role is based in Berlin, with the option to work remotely, and involves frequent local and international travel to meet with customers, partners, and attend industry events.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing cost-efficient, highly available, and scalable solutions, with in-depth knowledge of AWS services, particularly Kubernetes and Containers. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, leading end-to-end engagements with the account management team, and effectively communicating technical designs to customers.

## What You Will Do - Design, develop, and implement solutions to meet business requirements, focusing on cost-efficiency, high availability, and scalability.

• Conduct Well-Architected reviews and create Statements of Work (SoW) for clients.
• Research and analyze current solutions, identifying areas for improvement and initiating plans to enhance them.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure solutions are designed and developed according to best practices.
• Share knowledge with customers and the cloud community through public speaking engagements, such as workshops, conferences, and webinars.
• Participate in frequent travels, both locally and internationally, to meet with customers, partners, and attend industry events.
• Work closely with the account management team to develop AWS solutions tailored to client needs.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for solutions implemented.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing activities within the company, promoting a culture of innovation and expertise.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and trends, applying this knowledge to continuously improve solutions and services offered to clients.

## What We Are Looking For - At least 3 years of hands-on experience in an AWS environment, including implementation, migration, and maintenance, with a focus on designing end-to-end solutions.

• 2+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles, such as Customer Engineering, SRE, Cloud Architect, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a production environment, developing software with languages like Python, Go, Java, or equivalents.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS's main services, with an emphasis on Kubernetes and Containers.
• Certified AWS Solutions Architect - Associate, with AWS Solutions Architect Professional or a specialty certification being an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical designs and solutions to customers and stakeholders.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to lead end-to-end engagements with the account management team.

## Nice to Have - 2+ years of experience in an IT environment, including hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps tools.

• Experience with FinOps and GenAI support.
• Participation in public speaking engagements, such as workshops, conferences, and webinars, to share knowledge with the cloud community.
• Familiarity with information security best practices and compliance standards.
