About the Role
As a Senior Solutions Architect at Automat-it, you will play a pivotal role in the pre-sales process, working closely with global startup customers to develop tailored AWS solutions that drive real results. Your expertise will be crucial in designing, developing, and implementing cost-efficient, highly available, and scalable solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including account executives, to ensure seamless integration of AWS services. With a strong emphasis on innovation and customer satisfaction, you will be part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of tech.The role entails a deep understanding of AWS's main services, with a focus on Kubernetes and Containers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting Well-Architected reviews, developing Statements of Work, and researching current solutions to initiate improvement plans. You will also have the opportunity to share your knowledge with customers and the cloud community through public speaking engagements, workshops, and webinars.
As a key member of the team, you will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, leading end-to-end engagements with the account management team and communicating technical designs effectively to customers. Your ability to work in a remote setting, with frequent travels to meet with customers and partners, will be essential.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and implement AWS solutions that meet business requirements and are cost-efficient, highly available, and scalable
- Conduct Well-Architected reviews and develop Statements of Work for customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including account executives and engineers, to ensure best practices in solution design and development
- Research and analyze current solutions to initiate improvement plans
- Share knowledge with customers and the cloud community through public speaking engagements
- Participate in workshops, conferences, and webinars to stay updated on the latest trends and technologies
- Lead end-to-end engagements with the account management team
- Communicate technical designs effectively to customers, both verbally and in writing
- Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in an AWS environment, including implementation, migration, and maintenance
- 2+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles, such as Customer Engineering, SRE, Cloud Architect, or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in an IT environment, including hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps tools
- Proven experience in designing and developing software with Python, Go, Java, or equivalents
- In-depth knowledge of AWS's main services, with an emphasis on Kubernetes and Containers
- Certified AWS Solutions Architect - Associate, with a preference for AWS Solutions Architect Professional or specialty certifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead end-to-end engagements

- Experience with FinOps, Kubernetes, and Containers
- Knowledge of Information Security best practices
- Experience with cloud-based CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
