What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and implement AWS solutions for global startup customers, focusing on cost-efficiency, high availability, and scalability.
• Conduct Well-Architected reviews and Statements of Work (SoW) to ensure alignment with best practices.
• Research and analyze current solutions to identify areas for improvement and initiate plans to enhance them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including account executives, engineers, and stakeholders, to ensure that solutions meet customer needs and are technically sound.
• Share knowledge with customers and the broader cloud community through public speaking engagements, workshops, conferences, and webinars.
• Participate in frequent travels, both locally and internationally, to meet with customers, partners, and attend industry events.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation of solutions and architectures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve solution designs and implementations.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the technical capabilities of the organization.

What We Are Looking For

• A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in an AWS environment, including implementation, migration, and maintenance of AWS solutions.
• 2+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles, such as Customer Engineering, SRE, Cloud Architect, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in designing and developing software in production environments, with proficiency in languages such as Python, Go, Java, or equivalents.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS's main services, with a particular emphasis on Kubernetes and Containers.
• Experience with DevOps and Infrastructure tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Certified AWS Solutions Architect - Associate, with AWS Solutions Architect Professional or specialty certifications being a significant advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German, with the ability to effectively communicate technical designs and solutions to customers and internal stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in an IT environment with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps tools.
• Knowledge of Information Security best practices and experience with security compliance frameworks.
• Participation in open-source projects or personal projects that demonstrate expertise in cloud computing and AWS services.
