Senior Solutions Architect

About the Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of customers, from early-stage startups to established enterprises, and help them navigate the complexities of the cloud. You will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that meet the unique needs of each customer, while also ensuring that those solutions are aligned with best practices and industry standards.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and implement AWS solutions for global startup customers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize customer needs
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for AWS solutions
• Participate in public speaking engagements, such as workshops, conferences, and webinars
• Conduct Well-Architected reviews and SoW (Statement of Work) for customers
• Research and analyze current solutions and initiate improvement plans
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure solutions are designed and developed according to best practices
• Share knowledge with customers and the cloud community through public speaking engagements
• Travel frequently to meet with customers and partners, and attend local events

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in an AWS environment
• 2+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles, such as Customer Engineering, SRE, Cloud Architect, or equivalent
• Proven experience in a production environment, developing software with languages like Python, Go, Java, or equivalents
• In-depth knowledge of AWS's main services, with an emphasis on Kubernetes and Containers
• Certified AWS Solutions Architect - Associate, with AWS Solutions Architect Professional or a specialty certification being an advantage
• Ability to effectively communicate technical design in verbal and written formats in front of customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead an end-to-end engagement with the account management team

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools
• Knowledge of Information Security best practices
• Experience working in a startup environment
• Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost optimization
