Senior Solutions Architect

Your day-to-day activities will be focused on understanding customer needs, designing and proposing solutions, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and continuously improving existing solutions to ensure they meet the highest standards of performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and implement AWS solutions to meet business requirements, focusing on cost efficiency, high availability, and scalability.
• Conduct Well-Architected reviews and Statements of Work (SoW) to ensure solutions are aligned with best practices.
• Research and analyze current solutions, identifying areas for improvement and developing plans to enhance them.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to design and develop solutions that meet customer needs and adhere to best practices.
• Engage in public speaking engagements, including workshops, conferences, and webinars, to share knowledge with customers and the broader cloud community.
• Participate in frequent travels, both locally and abroad, to meet with customers, partners, and to attend relevant events and conferences.
• Work closely with the sales team to develop and propose comprehensive solutions to customers, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and the value proposition of proposed solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation of solutions, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and ease of understanding for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, applying this knowledge to continuously improve solution designs and implementations.

What We Are Looking For

• A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in an AWS environment, with a focus on designing end-to-end solutions.
• 2+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles, such as Customer Engineering, SRE, Cloud Architect, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions using AWS services, with an emphasis on Kubernetes and Containers.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS's main services and a strong understanding of Information Security best practices.
• Certified AWS Solutions Architect - Associate, with AWS Solutions Architect Professional or specialty certifications being a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German, with the ability to effectively communicate technical designs and solutions to customers.
• Experience working in a production environment, developing software with languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Ability to lead end-to-end engagements with the account management team and to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of FinOps and cost optimization strategies in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
• Participation in open-source projects or personal projects that demonstrate your technical skills and interests.
