## About the Role As a Senior Solutions Architect at Gitlab, you will be at the forefront of driving digital transformation for organizations across Central Europe. Your expertise in DevSecOps and ability to understand the technical and business needs of clients will be crucial in guiding them through their transformation journeys. The role of a Senior Solutions Architect is multifaceted, requiring a deep understanding of software development lifecycles, modern software practices, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will be responsible for leading technical evaluations, designing solution architectures, and serving as the voice of the customer back to Product Management. Your goal will be to drive successful platform adoption, influence revenue growth, and build long-term relationships with clients.

## What You Will Do - Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation to show how Gitlab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform meets customers' technical and business needs across the full lifecycle.
- Drive the technical evaluation process, including solution design, POC/POV ownership, workshop design, and the technical components of tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams across Central EMEA to shape and execute account strategies that support new customer acquisition and expansion.
- Build and deepen relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders, guiding them through GitLab-driven transformation and enabling them to become GitLab advocates.
- Advise customers on modern software development, continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and cloud practices, challenging existing approaches to improve return on investment.
- Serve as the voice of the customer with Product Management, providing feedback that informs product development and strategy.
- Own technical evaluations, including proof of value initiatives and workshops, to demonstrate the value of Gitlab's platform.
- Shape solution architectures that meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring successful platform adoption and long-term satisfaction.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success, to ensure a unified approach to client engagement.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, including planning, development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Strong technical expertise in areas such as continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and cloud computing.
- Excellent customer-facing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with AI-powered DevSecOps platforms, preferably Gitlab.
