About the Role
The Senior Solutions Architect position at GitLab is a key role that involves guiding financial services customers through digital transformation using GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform. As a trusted advisor, the Senior Solutions Architect will work closely with banks, fintechs, and other financial institutions to modernize their operations and improve their risk and compliance posture.The role reports to a regional Solutions Architect Manager and involves close collaboration with Account Executives and cross-functional teams. What You Will Do
- Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation to showcase how GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform addresses the needs of financial services customers
- Drive the technical evaluation process, including solution design, proofs of value, and workshops
- Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams to shape and execute account strategies
- Build and deepen relationships with technical practitioners and business stakeholders at financial services organizations
- Advise customers on modern software development, continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and cloud practices
- Serve as the voice of enterprise financial services customers with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing
- Share feedback, use cases, and competitive insights to inform roadmap and positioning
- Guide customers through GitLab-driven digital transformation and enable them to become GitLab advocates
- Own technical evaluations, including proofs of value and workshops
- Shape architectures that fit financial services constraints
