What You Will Do

• Guide technical discovery, product demonstrations, and validation activities to confirm technical fit and accelerate evaluation milestones.
• Own the technical evaluation process for complex opportunities, including solution design, workshop facilitation, and proof of concept execution.
• Develop end-to-end technical strategies for assigned accounts, expanding platform adoption and enabling multi-team transformation milestones.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams to shape account and territory plans, support qualification, and align technical strategy with customer priorities.
• Act as a strategic technical advisor, guiding customers through the evaluation and implementation of GitLab's DevSecOps platform.
• Mentor other Solutions Architects, sharing your expertise and experience to enhance the team's capabilities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the DevSecOps and AI spaces, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and growth.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role, with a strong background in software development, DevOps, and technical sales.
• In-depth knowledge of DevSecOps platforms, preferably with experience in AI-powered solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, sales teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages, software development methodologies, and cloud computing platforms.
• Experience with complex technical sales, including solution design, proof of concept development, and technical evaluation processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects and tasks while maintaining high-quality outputs.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with GitLab's DevSecOps platform or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of industry trends and standards in DevSecOps, AI, and cloud computing.
• Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance principles, including HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
