About the Role

The Senior Solutions Engineer role at Mozilla is a highly technical, customer-facing position focused on supporting the growth of Firefox Enterprise across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. As a key member of the team, you will partner with sales teams to identify strategic enterprise opportunities, design and lead workshops, and own the relationship with customer technical counterparts. Your expertise in enterprise architecture, security, and deployment will be crucial in helping customers evaluate and deploy Firefox Enterprise in secure, complex, and regulated environments.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with sales teams to support strategic enterprise opportunities across DACH
  • Lead technical discovery and solution design with customers and partners
  • Run workshops with customer stakeholders across security, infrastructure, IAM, endpoint management, and workplace technology
  • Own the relationship with customer technical counterparts during and after the sales process
  • Help customers evaluate Firefox Enterprise in areas such as deployment, policy management, identity integration, logging, security controls, and operational fit
  • Design and support pilots, proofs of concept, and rollout plans
  • Advise customers on deployment models, architecture decisions, and integration approaches for enterprise environments
  • Validate interoperability across systems such as SSO, MFA, SIEM, proxy/network controls, endpoint tooling, certificates/PKI, and browser policy frameworks
  • Identify and help resolve technical risks early, including application compatibility issues

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role, preferably in the software or technology industry
  • Deep technical credibility and expertise in enterprise architecture, security, and deployment
  • Strong experience with solution design, workshops, and technical discovery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in German, with fluency in English
  • Experience working with Firefox Enterprise or similar products
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and regulations, such as GDPR or HIPAA
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Asana or Trello
