About the Role

The Senior Solutions Engineer at ProFinda plays a pivotal role in driving the company's mission to revolutionize workforce management and skills intelligence through cutting-edge AI solutions. This position is critical in the sales process, acting as a trusted advisor to potential clients by understanding their workforce challenges, architecting tailored solutions, and demonstrating the transformative power of ProFinda's platform. Day-to-day, the Senior Solutions Engineer will engage in deep-dive discovery sessions with clients to identify key pain points and areas of opportunity. They will then leverage this understanding to develop and present compelling, customized solutions that showcase how ProFinda can address these challenges, enhance resource allocation, increase project utilization, and boost employee engagement. The ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear, concise manner to various stakeholders, from operational managers to C-level executives, is essential.

As part of the sales team, the Senior Solutions Engineer will work closely with the Sales Executive to develop and execute a pre-sales strategy that aligns with the client's goals and objectives. This collaborative approach ensures that ProFinda's solutions are not just technically sound but also strategically aligned with the client's business vision.

What You Will Do

  • Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all topics related to resource management, skills intelligence, and workforce transformation during the pre-sales process.
  • Conduct comprehensive discovery sessions to diagnose current resource allocation models, identify critical pain points, and quantify the impact of the current state.
  • Architect and articulate a future state vision where the client leverages ProFinda to achieve strategic goals.
  • Develop compelling, tailored value propositions and business cases that demonstrate a clear Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Design and deliver highly engaging, customized product demonstrations that resonate with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Translate complex AI and platform capabilities into tangible, real-world business benefits, focusing on solving the client's specific resource and skills challenges.
  • Gather requirements from external stakeholders and interface directly with internal tech teams to ensure accurate translation and implementation of business needs.
  • Lead technical and functional Q&A sessions, addressing client concerns and managing proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements.
  • Partner closely with the Sales Executive to create and execute the overall pre-sales strategy for key opportunities.
  • Provide critical market and client feedback to inform the platform roadmap.
  • Create and maintain a library of pre-sales assets, ensuring consistency and quality across the sales cycle.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in workforce transformation, resource management, and SaaS technology.

What We Are Looking For

  • Demonstrable experience (typically 5+ years) in a highly consultative role within the SaaS, HR Tech, or Professional Services space.
  • Deep Subject Matter Expertise in one or more of the following: resource management, workforce planning, skills intelligence, project portfolio management (PPM), or professional services automation (PSA).
  • Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and tailor the message for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to conduct compelling and professional product demonstrations for large enterprise clients.
  • A strong commercial acumen, with experience building business cases and articulating long-term value.
  • Willingness to travel as required to client sites and industry events.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex business challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
