About the Role

The Senior SQL Developer role at NTT DATA is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of database development, architecture, and implementation. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting analysis, designing, developing, testing, and implementing data solutions that address critical client business needs. Your expertise in SQL will be leveraged to capture and refine client requirements, permitting prioritized solutioning of client needs. You will also consult and advise on how to align business needs with technologies in scope.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct analysis, architect, design, develop, test, implement, configure, integrate, and support data solutions that address critical client business needs
  • Capture and refine client requirements to permit prioritized solutioning of client needs
  • Consult and advise on how to align business needs with technologies in scope
  • Facilitate client and other teams related to data as needed
  • Develop and maintain high-quality SQL code
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data solutions
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation of data solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of database experience: Oracle, MS SQL Server, Postgre SQL
  • 5+ years of experience with SSIS (should have worked on Visual Studio 12,17,22)
  • Strong expertise in SQL and database development
  • Experience with data analysis, design, and implementation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with machine learning and AI technologies
  • Certification in SQL or database development
