About the Role

Webflow is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to push the boundaries of what its platform can do, focusing on Compose & Localize. This role involves defining and driving the technical future of Webflow's CMS, Localization, and Commerce systems, which power millions of production websites and support over 1% of global Internet traffic.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the technical future of Webflow's Compose pillar
  • Partner closely with the Pillar Lead and senior leaders across Engineering, Product, and Design to translate product vision into technical strategy
  • Drive the technical work required to solve hard problems in data modeling, API design, performance, scalability, and interoperability

Requirements

  • Experience in software engineering with a focus on technical leadership and strategy
  • Ability to drive multi-team initiatives and collaborate with senior leaders
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, API design, performance, scalability, and interoperability
