About the Role
The Senior Strategic Account Executive role at Twilio is a high-impact position that requires developing and closing new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and helping innovative companies unlock the full potential of Twilio's communication platform. This role entails working closely with internal teams, such as Solutions Engineering, Product, and Marketing, to understand client needs and deliver customized solutions that drive real business value.As a Senior Strategic Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving new, upselling business revenue by identifying, qualifying, and closing high-impact opportunities with enterprise customers. You will own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and closing, with a focus on strategic and consultative selling. Your day-to-day activities will involve understanding customer needs and business drivers to position Twilio's platform and APIs as transformative solutions.

What You Will Do
- Drive new, upselling business revenue by identifying, qualifying, and closing high-impact opportunities with enterprise customers
- Own the entire sales cycle — from prospecting to negotiation and closing — with a focus on strategic and consultative selling
- Understand customer needs and business drivers to position Twilio's platform and APIs as transformative solutions
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, technical leaders, and business decision-makers
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineers, Product, Marketing, and technical teams to design and deliver value-added solutions
- Develop account plans, territory strategies, and accurate sales forecasts to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and buying centers
- Continuously learn and stay informed about Twilio's evolving product suite and industry trends to better serve clients
- Represent Twilio at industry events, conferences, and meetings to build pipeline and elevate brand awareness
- Champion the voice of the customer internally to help shape future product enhancements and go-to-market strategies
What We Are Looking For
- 15+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the SaaS, cloud communications, or related industries
- Strong expertise in Salesforce and Excel
- Proven track record of driving new business revenue and achieving sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand complex customer needs and develop strategic solutions
- Strong business acumen and industry knowledge
- Experience working with enterprise customers and navigating complex sales cycles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities

- Experience working with cloud communication platforms and APIs
- Knowledge of the Latin American market and industry trends
- Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish
