Job Description

About the Role

As a Senior Strategic Account Executive at Twilio, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding the company's presence in the enterprise market. You will be responsible for managing and expanding key customer accounts, developing and executing account strategies, and building strong relationships with customers and internal teams. This role will require a deep understanding of Twilio's platform and services, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Day-to-day, you will be working closely with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their goals. You will also be collaborating with internal teams, including sales, product, and marketing, to ensure that customer needs are being met and that Twilio's services are being utilized to their fullest potential.

As a key member of the sales team, you will be expected to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets. You will also be responsible for providing feedback and insights to internal teams, including product and marketing, to help inform the development of new services and features.

What You Will Do

  • Manage and expand key customer accounts, including developing and executing account strategies and building strong relationships with customers
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Twilio's platform and services, including the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product, and marketing, to ensure that customer needs are being met and that Twilio's services are being utilized to their fullest potential
  • Drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets
  • Provide feedback and insights to internal teams, including product and marketing, to help inform the development of new services and features
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends
  • Utilize GTM, Salesforce, and Excel to analyze customer data and develop targeted sales strategies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at customer accounts
  • Develop and deliver presentations and proposals to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and trends, and apply this knowledge to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction

What We Are Looking For

  • 10+ years of sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to major account or strategic sales
  • Strong understanding of GTM, Salesforce, and Excel
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams
  • Deep understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends
  • Ability to develop and execute account strategies and build strong relationships with customers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop targeted sales strategies
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and communicate the value of Twilio's services to customers

  • Experience working in the technology or telecommunications industry
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based services and solutions
