About the Role
The Senior Strategic Alliance Manager role at NVIDIA is a unique opportunity to drive the adoption of AI in chemistry and material science. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with top researchers and labs in academic and scientific research institutions. Your primary objective will be to define and deliver strategic partnerships, lead technical collaborations, and advise NVIDIA's product organization on the needs of the higher education and research ecosystem. The role entails a deep understanding of the research ecosystem landscape related to AI applications in chemical and materials research. You will need to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in generative AI, model architectures, and Agentic AI workflows in the field of chemistry and material science. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences will be essential in this role. As a representative of NVIDIA, you will be expected to evangelize the company's platform and products, hosting developer and customer evangelism events, such as meetups, hackathons, and lectures. You will also speak at relevant scientific, technical, and industry conferences, showcasing NVIDIA's expertise in AI for chemistry and material science.What You Will Do
- Identify top researchers and labs within academic and scientific research institutions specializing in AI applied to Chemistry and Material Science
- Lead strategic relationships with opinion leaders and researchers in the field
- Define NVIDIA's strategy for engaging developers in university and research environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Applied Research
- Evangelize and directly engage target collaborators on building teaching kits
- Host developer and customer evangelism events, such as meetups, hackathons, and lectures
- Speak at relevant scientific, technical, and industry conferences
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the research ecosystem landscape related to AI applications in chemical and materials research
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in generative AI, model architectures, and Agentic AI workflows in the field of chemistry and material science
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
What We Are Looking For
- PhD in computational chemistry, materials science, computer science, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in higher education or research environments, focusing on machine learning, interatomic potentials, generative modeling, and quantum chemistry workflows
- Demonstrated knowledge of the research ecosystem landscape related to AI applications in chemical and materials research
- Outstanding communication abilities, with proven experience in conveying a value proposition to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience managing technical and business alliances across multiple partner groups and peer teams
- High-impact publications in artificial intelligence applications for chemistry, molecular modeling, or materials discovery
- Experience with CUDA, parallel programming, or performance-focused software development
- Contributions to open-source software for simulation, chemistry, or materials science
Nice to Have
- Experience with NVIDIA's deep learning software development kit (SDK)
- Familiarity with NVIDIA's hardware and software platforms for AI computing
- Knowledge of cloud-based platforms for AI and machine learning
