About the Role

The Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager for AI & Agentic Commerce at Forter is a critical role that entails developing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy to accelerate the growth of Forter's AI-powered products globally. This role requires a deep understanding of the AI, large language model, and agentic commerce industries, as well as the ability to cultivate strategic alliances and drive revenue growth. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional departments, including sales, product, marketing, analytics, and operations, to identify partnership opportunities and ensure seamless execution of AI-focused business development strategies.

The role reports to the Director of Forter AI and can be based remotely, with occasional travel required. As a key member of the team, the Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of Forter's AI-powered products and expanding the company's reach into new markets.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the AI & agentic commerce business, aligning with the company's overall objectives and growth targets
  • Conduct ongoing market research to identify emerging trends in AI, agentic commerce, and autonomous transaction ecosystems
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic alliances, partnerships, and collaborations with key stakeholders in the e-commerce, AI, and agentic commerce ecosystem
  • Lead and mentor the sales and customer success teams to drive revenue growth via the AI product portfolio
  • Oversee negotiations, contract development, and deal structuring to ensure favorable terms and mutually beneficial agreements with AI and technology partners
  • Collaborate closely with sales, product, marketing, analytics, and operations teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of AI-focused business development strategies
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the AI, large language model, and agentic commerce industries, market dynamics, and emerging trends
  • Analyze market data and competitor activity to identify opportunities and challenges
  • Develop and present business cases for new partnerships and initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Proven track record of at least 5-8 years in the payments, identity, machine learning, or AI space, including experience in the agentic technology space
  • Strong understanding of the AI, large language model, and agentic commerce industries, market dynamics, and emerging trends
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiating and closing complex deals and partnerships
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset, able to ideate around new products with potential partners in the AI and agentic commerce space
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel as needed
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Salesforce and Excel
