About the Role
The Senior Strategist in Future of Work & AI Readiness is a pivotal role at American Institutes for Research, aimed at leading the design and delivery of innovative policies and programs. This position is crucial in helping education, workforce, and public systems respond to the challenges posed by artificial intelligence and the changing landscape of work. As a leader in this area, you will be responsible for cultivating strategic partnerships across various sectors, including public policy, private sector, philanthropy, and social science, to drive systemic improvements.The role entails working closely with a team of experts to develop and implement projects that focus on AI readiness and future of work strategies. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting the development of reusable tools and intellectual property, which will be used to inform policy and practice. You will also work closely with clients to translate complex data and analysis into actionable recommendations for system-level improvements.
What You Will Do
- Develop and lead complex projects focused on AI readiness and future of work strategies
- Cultivate and maintain strategic cross-sector partnerships to drive systemic change
- Support the development of reusable tools and intellectual property related to AI and future of work
- Work closely with clients to translate data and analysis into practical recommendations
- Contribute to the development of policy briefs, research reports, and other publications
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver programs and services
- Represent American Institutes for Research in external forums and events
- Stay updated on the latest trends and research in AI and future of work
- Develop and manage project budgets and timelines
- Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance on project development and implementation
