About the Role
The Senior Systems Solution Architect role at GE Vernova is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of both technology and business. As a trusted technical advisor, you will lead customer-facing architecture conversations, shape design decisions, and ensure that solutions deliver measurable business outcomes. This role is at the forefront of driving customer adoption of the GridOS platform, which is designed to accelerate the transition to a more efficient and sustainable energy grid.The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, with experience in cloud-native architectures, systems engineering, and technical consulting. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, services, cybersecurity, and pre-sales, to design scalable, secure, and interoperable solutions built on GE Vernova's next-generation GridOS architecture.

What You Will Do
- Lead and coordinate technical, architectural, and business discussions with customers to define and validate GridOS solution architectures
- Translate customer objectives into cloud-ready, modular, and secure architectural designs aligned to the GridOS platform strategy
- Analyze and develop architectural requirements at the domain and platform level, working closely with portfolio and product specialists
- Whiteboard and communicate high-level solution architectures that reflect the practical realities of enterprise utility software
- Partner with the centralized pre-sales engagement team to design, maintain, and optimize on-prem and cloud-based demo environments
- Apply systems engineering principles to ensure end-to-end integration, quality, and lifecycle management of GridOS deployments
- Guide customers through modernization initiatives, integrations with legacy OT/IT systems, and adoption of cloud-native practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure, and interoperable solutions built on GE Vernova's next-generation GridOS architecture
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in the GridOS platform
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
- 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems engineering, technical consulting, or pre-sales roles for enterprise or cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, including Kubernetes, containers, microservices, and APIs
- Working knowledge of Kotlin, Helm, Apache Arrow, SQL, and modern cloud-native tooling
- Understanding of cybersecurity regulations and standards, such as NERC CIP, Zero Trust principles, and ISO frameworks
- Progress toward or completion of AWS or Azure Solution Architect certifications
- Proven experience presenting complex technical solutions to both technical and executive stakeholders
- Ability to lead early-stage customer engagements, architecture workshops, and technical discovery sessions
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills across all organizational levels
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience designing or implementing cloud-native, distributed, or high-availability systems
- Experience in customer-facing technical roles, such as pre-sales engineering, consulting, or solution architecture
- Familiarity with utility technologies, such as EMS, DMS
- Knowledge of DevOps and DataOps practices, including CI/CD, testing, and deployment
