Senior, Tech Risk and AI Automation

About the Role

As a senior member of the team, you will architect and scale Reddit's SOX compliance program, designing, developing, and maintaining AI-driven testing that enhances accuracy, provides real-time insights, and reduces manual overhead. As a senior tech risk and AI automation expert, you will be expected to navigate this landscape, identifying and mitigating potential threats while championing the use of AI and automation in risk management.

What You Will Do

• Architect and scale Reddit's SOX compliance program by designing, developing, and maintaining AI-driven testing.
• Spearhead the testing of internal controls using agentic AI systems to identify and mitigate potential threats.
• Partner closely with Engineering, IT, and business teams to integrate AI automation with internal systems.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and champion for the use of AI and automation in risk management.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence within the Risk Advisory and Assurance team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to impact areas including security, platform regulatory risks, and non-financial metrics.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of AI-driven processes and testing methodologies.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI and automation, applying this knowledge to continuously improve Reddit's risk management practices.
• Provide training and support to ensure that all team members are proficient in the use of AI tools and technologies.
• Participate in the development of the annual audit plan, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and risk management strategies.

What We Are Looking For

• An experienced professional with 2 to 4 years of experience in a Big 4 accounting firm, internal audit, and/or compliance function.
• Demonstrated passion for technology and automation, with experience supporting SOX and/or security compliance testing.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CPA, CIA, and/or CISSP are preferred.
• Controls testing experience, including tech general controls, application controls, key reports, and integrations.
• Ability to assess complex processes to identify risks and opportunities for automation.
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools and prompting, such as Google AI suite, ChatGPT, or specialized AI audit tools.
• Critical thinker with a proactive and creative approach to problem-solving.
• Strong collaborator with a strong work ethic and enthusiasm for learning.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
