About the Role
As a Senior Technical Lead DevOps - AWS at 3pillar, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and innovation. Your expertise in DevOps practices will ensure the seamless integration and continuous delivery of groundbreaking projects. You will be responsible for mentoring a dynamic team, optimizing deployment strategies, and implementing cutting-edge technologies to keep 3pillar at the forefront of the tech landscape.The role entails collaborating with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, as well as manage and configure infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
What You Will Do
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions to automate software build, test, and deployment processes
- Manage and configure infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using AWS CloudWatch and other tools to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments
- Continuously evaluate and implement best practices for DevOps processes, tools, and technologies
- Lead efforts to optimize cloud resources usage and costs while ensuring high availability and performance
- Implement certificate upgrades, migrations, and other security-related tasks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for DevOps processes and systems
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 support for production environments
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field; or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role, with expertise in data center technologies
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, including services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, or Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and infrastructure automation
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
Nice to Have
- Experience with Excel and data analysis tools
- Knowledge of data center security configurations and compliance
- Familiarity with containerization solutions and serverless architectures
- Certification in AWS or other cloud platforms
