About the Role
The Senior Technical Product Manager – iOS role at Hire Hangar is a critical position that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, product vision, and leadership skills. As a key member of the product team, you will be responsible for leading the product strategy and execution for the company's iOS consumer application. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and data, to deliver features that delight consumers and drive measurable outcomes.The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the Apple App Store ecosystem, including submission processes, guidelines, and optimization techniques. They will also have experience shipping consumer-facing iOS applications and a proven track record of delivering AI-powered features in a consumer product context.
The role is fully remote, and the company is looking for someone who is comfortable working in a distributed team environment and has prior experience with remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace.
What You Will Do
- Own the end-to-end product roadmap for the iOS consumer app, from ideation through App Store release
- Navigate App Store guidelines, review processes, and release cycles with confidence and precision
- Work directly with engineering teams to define technical requirements, review architecture decisions, and unblock delivery
- Use data and user research to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses, and measure impact
- Integrate AI-driven features into the consumer product experience — from ideation to delivery
- Collaborate with design to ensure the product is both technically sound and exceptional to use
- Represent the product in cross-functional planning, stakeholder updates, and executive reviews
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products, services, and target audience
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies
What We Are Looking For
- Experience as a Senior PM or above, shipping consumer-facing iOS applications
- Deep familiarity with the Apple App Store ecosystem, including submission processes, guidelines, and optimization techniques
- Hands-on coding ability in Python or Java, with the ability to read, write, and reason about code
- Experience delivering AI-powered features in a consumer product context
- Strong B2C product instincts with a focus on retention, engagement, and user experience
- Comfortable working in early-stage or fast-moving product environments
- Prior remote work experience and fluency with remote collaboration tools
- Experience in the cosmetics or beauty industry is a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience with App Store Optimization (ASO) and consumer growth metrics
- Background working in a startup or scale-up environment
