About the Role
As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Mercury, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of complex, multi-team initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Data, and Revenue, to drive delivery sequencing and execution momentum. Your technical expertise and program management skills will be essential in navigating the intricacies of revenue technology and protecting execution focus.The role is highly technical and hands-on, requiring a strong understanding of systems, data flows, and platform constraints. You will be expected to own delivery sequencing and execution momentum, translate ambiguous goals into clear scopes and milestones, and actively manage work in Linear and related tools.
You will report to the Head of Platforms & Infrastructure and play a critical role in driving the success of Mercury's revenue technology initiatives.
What You Will Do
- Own delivery sequencing and execution momentum across Revenue Technology initiatives
- Translate ambiguous goals into clear scopes, milestones, and dependency maps
- Actively manage work in Linear and related tools, ensuring priorities are visible and intentional
- Identify when work is blocked, drifting, over-scoped, or colliding — and intervene early
- Partner closely with Solution Architecture, Data Strategy, Engineering, and Systems & Workflow Experience
- Perform light hands-on technical work to unblock progress
- Absorb coordination load across Product, Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, Revenue, and vendors
- Drive planning cycles anchored to Cosmic Objectives, not ad-hoc urgency
- Make tradeoffs explicit and documented so teams can move without re-litigating decisions
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Technical PM, or equivalent role in a SaaS or fintech environment
- Demonstrated ability to drive delivery across multi-team, cross-functional initiatives
- Strong technical fluency — able to reason about systems, data flows, integrations, and platform constraints
- Hands-on experience managing work in tools like Linear, Jira, or similar
- Proven ability to surface dependencies, sequence work, and intervene when execution is blocked or drifting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in ambiguous environments
- Comfort performing light hands-on technical work
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting GTM, revenue, or customer lifecycle platforms
- Familiarity with Salesforce, data platforms, or revenue tooling ecosystems
- Experience operating within Agile / Kanban systems — with judgment about when to adapt them
- Background working closely with architecture or platform engineering teams
