What You Will Do
- Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering roles, from kickoff to close, ensuring a seamless and efficient hiring process.
- Build and maintain strong, healthy pipelines across multiple roles simultaneously to meet the growing needs of the engineering teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, partnering with them to drive the best hiring outcomes for their teams and align with the company's overall strategy.
- Source candidates proactively and creatively to engage top technical talent, going beyond traditional sourcing methods.
- Develop a deep understanding of Mercury's products, engineering challenges, and team needs to make informed hiring decisions.
- Use data and pattern recognition to identify bottlenecks, diagnose issues, and unblock hiring processes independently, leveraging analytical skills to improve the recruitment process.
- Partner closely with Engineering leaders to align on role scope, success profiles, and evaluation criteria, ensuring that hiring efforts are closely tied to the company's technical vision.
- Mentor and support other recruiters, helping raise the bar for the team and contributing to the development of best practices in technical recruitment.
- Deliver a candidate experience that's thoughtful and transparent from first touch to final decision, reflecting Mercury's commitment to quality and candidate satisfaction.
What We Are Looking For
- 4+ years of experience as a technical recruiter supporting engineering teams, with a proven track record of successful hires and team growth.
- Experience hiring for AI/ML-related roles, demonstrating an understanding of the technical landscape and the ability to attract specialized talent.
- Strong sourcing skills that go beyond LinkedIn Recruiter, including the use of innovative platforms, networks, and strategies.
- Ability to quickly identify patterns, anticipate problems, and autonomously drive solutions, showcasing a proactive approach to recruitment challenges.
- Deep curiosity about the products and teams you support, and a strong understanding of how the roles you hire for drive impact, indicating a genuine interest in Mercury's mission.
