About the Role

The Senior Technical Success Manager position at Amplitude involves managing the deployment, adoption, and value realization of Amplitude's AI analytics platform for a portfolio of customers. This role is critical in ensuring customers achieve their goals through the effective use of Amplitude's products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive customer outcomes.

Day-to-day, the Senior Technical Success Manager will work closely with customers to understand their needs, develop success plans, and ensure the successful deployment of Amplitude's platform. This involves leading deployment planning, managing risks, and driving adoption through live working sessions and identifying new use cases. The role also requires collaboration with internal teams, such as account executives, to drive renewals and expansion.

Amplitude's Customer Success team is dedicated to building long-term relationships with customers and driving value realization. As a Senior Technical Success Manager, you will be an integral part of this team, contributing to the company's mission to help customers build better products and digital experiences.

What You Will Do

  • Own customer deployment, adoption, and outcomes for a portfolio of 25-35 accounts
  • Lead deployment planning and implementation across your portfolio
  • Track and manage risks and issues across active deployments
  • Monitor portfolio health through AI-augmented signals
  • Drive product adoption by running live working sessions and identifying new use cases
  • Develop and maintain success plans tied to customer goals
  • Build and deliver executive business reviews that connect Amplitude usage to measurable business impact
  • Partner with Account Executives on renewals and expansion
  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally
  • Continuously improve how you operate by developing repeatable playbooks and sharing best practices

  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Excel
