About the Role

Prophecy, a leader in AI-native data preparation and analysis, is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to elevate their product documentation and technical customer communications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, data engineering, and data analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver high-impact content to help data practitioners solve complex data prep and analytics problems
  • Collaborate with core product and engineering teams to create precise, actionable guidance
  • Translate sophisticated concepts into clear, polished technical documentation

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in technical writing, with a focus on software platforms or B2B SaaS companies
  • 4+ years of experience in ETL, data engineering, data prep, data analytics, or business analytics
  • Proficiency in writing content in markdown and version control using GitHub, as well as creating visuals in Figma
