About the Role

The Senior User Experience Designer position at Virtru is a unique opportunity to join a company that is changing the landscape of data security. As a member of the UX team, you will partner closely with Product and Engineering to understand customer needs deeply and set a clear experience direction for Virtru's products. What You Will Do

  • Lead the design of new features and products, ensuring they are secure, intuitive, and meet customer needs.
  • Conduct user research to inform design decisions, including interviews, usability testing, and surveys.
  • Develop and maintain design documentation and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Sales, to ensure design aligns with business goals.
  • Design and prototype multiple concepts, iterating based on feedback from stakeholders and users.
  • Develop and maintain the design system, ensuring consistency across all products.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in UX design, applying this knowledge to continuously improve Virtru's products.
  • Participate in design critiques, providing and receiving feedback to elevate the quality of design outcomes.
  • Work closely with the product management team to define product requirements and roadmaps.

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 5 years of experience in UX design, with a focus on digital products and services.
  • A portfolio that showcases your ability to design secure, user-centered products.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, human-centered design, and design systems.
  • Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
  • Experience with usability testing and research methods.
