About the Role
The Senior UX Designer role at IDeaS is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to drive the user experience vision for assigned products and initiatives. As a key member of the design team, the Senior UX Designer will collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Research to deliver intuitive, data-informed, and scalable user experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their expertise in UX design and a proven track record of driving design direction and strategy.The role entails leading end-to-end UX design activities, from discovery and concept through detailed design and delivery. The Senior UX Designer will partner closely with Product Managers to translate product strategy, requirements, and business objectives into user-centered design solutions. This involves conducting and synthesizing user research, creating and maintaining UX artifacts, and advocating for user-centered design best practices across the organization.

What You Will Do
- Own and drive the end-to-end UX design process for complex products and features, from discovery and concept through detailed design and delivery
- Partner closely with Product Managers to translate product strategy, requirements, and business objectives into user-centered design solutions
- Conduct and synthesize user research, including interviews, usability testing, journey mapping, and surveys, to inform design decisions
- Create and maintain UX artifacts, including user journeys, personas, information architecture, wireframes, interaction flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Ensure design solutions are grounded in usability, accessibility (WCAG), and inclusive design principles
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure designs are feasible, clearly specified, and implemented with high fidelity
- Contribute to and evolve design systems, component libraries, and UX standards to ensure consistency and scalability across products
- Facilitate design workshops, critiques, and cross-functional working sessions to drive alignment and shared understanding
- Provide clear design rationale and storytelling to stakeholders, incorporating feedback while maintaining UX integrity
- Act as a UX subject matter expert, advocating for the user perspective in product and delivery decisions
- Mentor and provide design guidance to junior and mid-level designers, raising overall design quality and maturity
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, UX Design, Graphic Design, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 6+ years of professional UX design experience working on complex software products (SaaS experience preferred)
- Demonstrated expertise across the full UX lifecycle, from discovery and research through delivery and iteration
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design thinking, problem-solving, and impact on product outcomes
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools, such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, or similar
- Strong ability to translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive interaction and visual design
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
