About the Role

The Senior UX/CX Designer role at Blueprint is a unique opportunity to shape and deliver customer-centered experiences across complex products, services, and ecosystems. As a key member of the design team, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to influence large-scale, end-to-end customer journeys. Your expertise in experience design, UX research, and strategic storytelling will drive alignment around future-state experiences and help Blueprint's clients unlock value from their existing assets.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve leading strategic customer experience and user experience initiatives, communicating complex concepts through compelling storytelling, and translating customer insights into actionable experience strategies. You will work closely with the design team to create and maintain design artifacts, apply established design systems, and deliver concepts and solutions at varying levels of fidelity.

The team context for this role is highly collaborative, with opportunities to work with multiple clients and teams, including data science and product development. You will have the chance to learn, grow, and develop new solutions while gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology.

What You Will Do

  • Lead strategic customer experience and user experience initiatives from discovery through delivery
  • Communicate complex concepts and future-state visioning through compelling storytelling and executive-level presentations
  • Translate customer insights, business objectives, and research findings into actionable experience strategies
  • Create and maintain design artifacts, including journey maps, service blueprints, personas, customer jobs-to-be-done, user scenarios, task flows, wireframes, and storyboards
  • Apply established design systems, content frameworks, navigation models, UI patterns, and industry best practices
  • Deliver concepts and solutions at varying levels of fidelity, from early ideation to finalized designs
  • Plan and conduct user research activities, including customer interviews and other qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Guide research synthesis efforts and connect customer insights to strategic design recommendations
  • Facilitate and support live and virtual design thinking workshops with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in UX/CX design, with a focus on experience strategy and research
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in experience design, UX research, and strategic storytelling
  • Proficiency in design tools, such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Experience with design systems, content frameworks, and navigation models
  • Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and customer-centric approach
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to senior leadership
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Experience with front-end development and coding languages, such as HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
  • Knowledge of data analysis and metrics tools, such as Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and design thinking principles
