What You Will Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable VPS and hosting infrastructure to support the company's growing customer base
• Develop automation using Python, Bash, or other scripting languages to streamline processes and improve efficiency
• Leverage AI and machine learning to predict failures and automate remediation, ensuring high uptime and minimal downtime for customers
• Enhance environments across WordPress, shared, and VPS hosting to improve performance, reliability, and security
• Build systems for self-healing, auto-scaling, and intelligent optimization to ensure the hosting platform is always running at peak performance
• Design and operate AI-enhanced hosting infrastructure at scale, using tools like Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Contribute to infrastructure improvements and new hosting capabilities, working closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration
• Explore automation opportunities to improve performance and efficiency, identifying areas where automation can add value and implementing solutions
• Develop tooling for provisioning, monitoring, and orchestration to support the hosting platform, ensuring that all systems are running smoothly and efficiently
• Collaborate with the security team to ensure the hosting platform is secure and compliant with industry standards
• Work closely with the customer support team to resolve customer issues and improve the overall customer experience

What We Are Looking For

• 5-8+ years of experience in hosting, infrastructure, or systems engineering, with a deep understanding of Linux, virtualization, and scripting skills
• Strong expertise in VPS environments, virtualization, and cloud platforms, with experience working with containers and CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or other scripting languages, with experience developing automation solutions
• Experience with AI and machine learning, including anomaly detection, predictive monitoring, and AIOps tooling
• Strong understanding of networking and performance optimization, with experience working in high-scale, production-critical environments
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to troubleshoot complex issues and resolve them quickly
• Strong communication skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior executives and tech leadership
• Experience working with WordPress-specific hosting knowledge, including PHP-FPM, MySQL optimization, wp-cron, and caching layers

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Kubernetes and container orchestration, with a strong understanding of how to design and operate AI-enhanced hosting infrastructure at scale
• Familiarity with AIOps tooling and automation solutions, with experience developing tooling for provisioning, monitoring, and orchestration
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards, with experience working with security teams to ensure the hosting platform is secure and compliant
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment, with a strong ability to work independently and collaborate with team members remotely
