Job Description
## About the Role The Senior Wind Hub Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of field services and resource planning for GE Vernova's wind energy operations. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance of wind turbines, as well as the development and execution of resource plans to meet business commitments. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with customer service managers, field services engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the wind energy industry, as well as experience in managing field services and resource planning. You will be responsible for developing and executing short and long-range resource plans, managing maintenance facilities, and field services engineering. Your expertise will be essential in driving quality, efficiency, and effectiveness in your team.
In this role, you will have significant input into priorities and will be guided by professional practices and policies. You will be expected to develop specialized knowledge in your discipline and serve as a best practice/quality resource. Your awareness of the latest technical developments in your area will be essential in contributing to strategy and policy development.
## What You Will Do - Develop and execute short and long-range resource plans based on resource forecasts and region business commitments - Manage field services and maintenance activities, including preventive and remedial maintenance - Interface with customer service managers on issues escalation - Develop long-range forecasts for region resource needs - Recruit, review skills, and develop resources through advanced-level training - Serve as a best practice/quality resource and contribute to strategy and policy development - Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems - Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience - Lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements - Explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus - Develop persuasion skills to influence others on topics within your field
## What We Are Looking For - Significant experience in services and resource management, comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college - Strong oral and written communication skills - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills - Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems - Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects - Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs - Established project management skills - Knowledge of the latest technical developments in your area - Experience in managing field services and resource planning
